Last night, Kevin and I went to the Red Sox game versus the Indians - Kevin's first major league baseball game ever, and my third. It was quite the exciting game, what with the fight in the bottom of the 8th inning leading to Josh Beckett's ejection. The weather was great, the sausage rolls were tasty, and the Sox won, 3-1!
So, one goal down, and 100 more to go! Hooray!

New-to-me restaurant: Toro (Boston, MA)
Last Wednesday (7/21), Jeff, Kim, Kevin and I went to Toro in Boston to celebrate Kevin and Jeff's one-day-apart birthdays. Jeff and Kim had been there multiple times, had been talking it up, and we hadn't had tapas in quite awhile, so off we went!
In one word... AMAZING! We were seated outside on a thankfully breezy and non-humid evening. The dishes were brought out at the perfect pace, everyone was up for trying a bit of everything... it was cool, it was relaxing, and most of all, it was delicious!

The list, and why I'm doing this
I'm a horrible procrastinator, and terribly lazy. Even when I'm excited about something, it really takes a lot for me to get off my duff and actually do something. I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, having a list in front of me with a wide selection of different goals I'd like to accomplish will inspire me to see what I can do if I put my mind to it.
So, here it is - my official 101 Goals in 1001 Days. I'll be documenting my achievements in this blog - mostly to have my own personal record I can look over to shush that little voice in the back of my mind that says, "You're getting older, and what exactly have you done with your life?" And, if you want to follow along at home, go for it (though I'm warning you, this won't exacty be scintillating stuff). :) I'm planning on doing a monthly check-in post to update the list with in-progress items, and I will be blogging about finished items. At least, that's the theory.
Without further ado, and in no particular order... here's the list!
Start Date: 7/12/10
End Date: 4/8/13
